Neuropsychology

The Department of Neuropsychology at St. Charles offers a wide range of tests and assessments which evaluate behavior and cognition--the thought-processing activities of the brain.

Physicians order neuropsychological tests when diagnosing brain and behavior-related conditions in adults and children. They also use neuropsychological assessments to develop rehabilitation strategies and accommodations for patient who have life-altering injuries or progressive diseases.

Conditions and injuries where neuropsychological tests and assessments may be ordered by a physician include:

At St. Charles, tests and assessments are conducted by licensed clinical neuropsychologists.
