St. Charles Rehabilitation physicians are physiatrists, doctors who specialize in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R). In addition to board certifiaction in PM&R, they hold certifications in sub-speciality areas of rehabilitation (such as brain injury and stroke). St. Charles physiatrists oversee the care of each patient while also participating in research in their field.
24-hour rehabilitation nursing care
The rehabilitation team at St. Charles includes certified rehabilitation registered nurses (CRRN). To obtain their CRRN certification,

Core therapies provided a minimum of three hours a day, five days a week (physical, occupational and speech language)
